Blue silence

On Australia Day in Fremantle South Beach, a crowd of families and backpackers from all over the world come together to celebrate. They share food, drink and festivities and enjoy the shared joy. As I immerse myself in the blue expanse of the Indian Ocean, the festive sounds dissolve into deep silence. This moment, in which everything merges with the beauty of the ocean, is perfection. Here, beneath the surface of the water, the world above fades away and all that remains is the calm embrace of the sea. A perfect blue stillness.
