After planes and busses were cancelled and I almost worried about maybe to be forced to skip the Machu Picchu I finally arrived after a 6 Hours bus drive to Aguas Calientes and could take the chance to hike the old mountain and discover its majestic and misterious beauty.

Being up there looking at the Inca ruins with the Huayna Picchu covered gently by the clouds did literelly feel like beeing a step closer to heaven.
