"We donate 10% of our profits to drinking water projects worldwide."
While photographing in Cartagena, I met this woman, dressed in vibrant traditional clothing, balancing a basket of tropical fruit on her head. She was used to posing for tourists and offered to do the same for me. I usually prefer more natural shots, so I declined. Curious, I asked about the heavy load she was carrying. With a beaming smile, she remarked: "Well, because you can't eat plastic fruit!" She then cut up some fruit and sold me the freshest, most delicious plate of fruit I've ever had. That moment changed my perspective on her. I captured that moment and named the photo "Los Colores de la Fruta", which shows her in her element, surrounded by the vibrant colors of her fruit.
