Passing by

As I strolled through the bustling streets of Cartagena, mesmerized by the patchwork of crumbling pastel facades and the history they whispered, my lens was drawn to the brilliant contrast of a sun-faded yellow wall in front of a bright turquoise door. Just as I snapped my shot, a local woman appeared, protected from the intense Caribbean sun by a delicately patterned red umbrella. Her timing was impeccable, adding a touch of life to the already colorful scene.

This unexpected moment expressed the everyday grace of Cartagena - where old and new blend seamlessly and every corner offers a canvas of stories. This photo, now one of my favorites, is a vivid reminder of the day I spent chasing shadows and stories in this enchanting city.
